Why be angry? If those who are like wanton children Are by nature prone to injure others, What point is there in being angry-- Like resenting fire for its heat? -Bodhicaryavatara Food for thought for anyone dealing with particularly difficult people these days. ~Alena

That was an interesting way of seeing bullies. Good quote. In a society such as ours it is best to be completely detached caring little about the out come. This does not mean you must remain silent and offer no opinion just say what you believe but do not mind it when no one takes your advice. Except it when they go the opposite direction. This does not mean no longer holding true to your own beliefs or path just letting things flow where they are going. I for the most part hold to this attitude. I will debate on news vine or any other message board and state my opinion like everyone else. The only difference is I will walk away letting them do as they will. It is always good to state you opinions for the record so when it happens, you knew that you told them but they refused to listen but you are clear of any fault since you did in fact warn them. Your duty only goes as far as informing people. It is up to them to choose to listen and try the advice or not. If they do not you still did the right thing in informing them. I have debated many people for years as an activist. It was fun in those days. Today I am no longer an activist since there are no movements to work with. It seems politics is going in a direction all it's own and no one can change it's direction. What will happen will happen. So let it happen. Of course you could quietly wait till it happens and remind everyone "See I told you." I could not miss that joke.
