here's a site I came across the promises to grant your wish. It uses the the figure 8 which is the infinity symbol on it's end. and has been used in magick for years. so it might just work. i made mine we'll See what happens www.real-wishes.com/

Wished mine too a couple of days ago.When I awoke this morning and looked at the clock, it was 08:08!

If you do these wish things you have to do it for the fun of it like going on a ride at a fair because if you expect it to actually work you will be let down. There is no scientific bases for your wish coming true because you filled in the blank on some really cool looking message board. This board counts on the natural tendency of people to believe in superstition. This is like when you throw salt over your shoulder. It is one of those old wives tales. If you do it in fun and lightly hope a wish might come true quite by accident than enjoy the fun. If you take it too seriously than it will only anger you, but who knows maybe in your anger you will Make the wish come true. I guess you can then use it as a motivator.
