I saw a commercial for a projector cell phone a few days ago. And it just clicked in my head that it's now possible to make a holocron of sorts. Now I'm not nearly good enough at electronics to try this but heres my idea. Create a two piece pyramid. About the size of a alarm cock. The first piece would contain two cell phone battiers. With a charge point. The second piece the main part of the pyramid. On the base link four or five 3GB flash drives to store the video. Along the side run the projector components. with the eye piece at the top of the pyramid. on the other side put a cell phone's video camera. Remove all of the calling components. and insert the core of the cell phone. put the touch screen on one of the other sides. Hell you might not even need to reprogram it. just turn it on record your lesson. save it then someone could play it back on a wall. not nearly as cool as a hologram. but i think it would be awesome to make one. looks like I'm going to have to pull out my high school electronics books.

In the fiction of Star Wars holocrons are opened by the Force.
Any ideas?

you might be able to place a sigil on the electronics. or house a servitor inside the holocron. task ether one of them to short circuit the power flow. whenever some tries to turn it on unless the right command is given

i see, but my idea was only Force users in general could open them just by using the Force, not a password.

*shrugs* good luck with that, I personally prefer writing: www.hostingphpbb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18&mforum=sithdomainI don't really think it matters who has access, because the only ones who can put your knowledge to use are those that can understand it; those who can't use usually don't get it and even if they do it doesn't matter because they won't use or live by it. My two cents.
